Not until Worx4X comes out. But you could easily create a Library smart collection set to show only Unused clips and then go manually delete those in the Finder.

The FCPXML should reflect both Roles assigned in a Project timeline and any assigned to clips in an Event before adding them to the project.
As Oliver states, Project assigned roles will not ripple back to Event clips. They are per timeline. Which allows you to reuse clips in different projects without crossing roles.

Hmm not sure that’s correct- should be a Library file not a bundle. You may be missing key files necessary to be able to open this in X let alone 7.

I’m afraid it’s not that simple. The XML created by FCPX is not readable in FCP 7.

Just out of curiosity what is it you’re expected to do with the project. I.e. is there a critical reason why you’re trying to work on a X project in 7?

Yeah I would actually suggest mentioning it to EditReady because I doubt their workflow is intended to dupe originals like that. In a perfect world you shouldn’t really need to prep dailies outside of X as it has great proxy and optimization on ingest built in.

Was the pulldown done during ingest in 7? it’s a setting.
