How do I convert the files for FCPX?
iMac (Retina 5K, 27 inch, Late 2015)
4 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
OS X 10.11.6

February 15, 2017 at 2:57 amI import AVCHD file from my Z150 directly into FCPX and tell it to create optimized media. You might need to update to newer FCPX if your version is too old.

Did you ever try importing directly into FCPX? Should work, if that’s where you’ll edit, saves a step or two.
