If it works fine in Premiere Pro I suggest outputting to ProRes and calling it good vs. losing a lot of time chasing gremlins.

I’d say if you’re used to Mac Pro performance, the 15 inch MBP + eGPU pretty much makes the case (so to speak). Even in High Sierra beta it’s pretty compelling. Just plan on dropping another $500-1000 for the enclosure plus a good card and then you’ll have the best of both worlds. Portability and desktop-grade firepower when you need to dock.

Guessing the media was not stored within the Library then? Then it would be wherever it was when you added it to the Library.

Yeah I would’ve accepted an awesome camera and holo player with RED’s OS. Never planning to replace my iphone with an Android phone no matter whose fork it is.

I’m guessing ironically the phone itself won’t shoot holographic content but only 2D. Creating anything close to holographic content seems like it requires multiple optical lenses plus some form of depth scanning.
