How to Restore A Deleted Library?
I may have accidentally deleted or moved a Library. How do I restore?
If I try and load from my backup, all I get is the RED Missing File icons. If I load from where it was moved or copied to, I get the same thing. If a backup and archived Library does not contain my video clips, Events and Projects, what good are they? So how can I retrieve all my data so I can finish this Project?
Library in progress was on Drive A.
Backup Library is on Drive B.
Archive Library is on Drive C.HELP!! And Thank You.

Guessing the media was not stored within the Library then? Then it would be wherever it was when you added it to the Library.

One benefit of
Library manager is the it gives you a list of your libraries and where the media was/is stored. -
I can’t help with the problem, but I’d like to ask how folks use the Library. Every time I start a new video project, I create a new Library, and I keep the projects and events together in it, as well as the footage. I began doing it this way when I heard there was no limit on how many libraries you can have in FCPX. So far, it has helped be to avoid the kind of issues Ken is experiencing, but, am I doing it “wrong”?

I have always copied my footage into the Library. It seems somehow on this project that did not happen. I was able to restore all my data but it took awhile since the footage and music were on different drives. So I think I’ve got this issues under control.
