Yup- waveform redraw is definitely a major perf enhancement on top of all the new workflow and feature stuff.

Sure but this is handled natively in 10.2. Surely a free partition with Yosemite and 10.2 makes far more sense than buying plugins for last year’s FCPX.

Yep delete and re-download FCPX should do the trick.

If the project opens then you should be able to relink media.

TED continues to evolve their workflow, learning from each experience as every wise post team should. We experienced this ourselves with the FCPWORKS broadcasts. I’m incredibly psyched we have all of them online so soon after NAB concluded. And we learned a ton of ways we could do it even better next time.

Nope it’s the price of admission. I think it’s as much to do with the volume of people as with the dry air conditioning, too much party and not enough sleep. I was eating honey each morning and taking the party easy and came out with just a sore throat from gabbing.
