    Thanks Dan,

    I have amended the expression to the following

    xPos = 2800;
    freq=0.1;
    amp=random(50,100)
    y = amp*Math.sin(freq*time*Math.PI*2);
    yPos = y+360;
    [xPos,yPos]

    However it seems that there’s still a tinee misalignment with the particles.

    Please see attached.

    I checked my other settings and think i have accurately set all other keyframes to loop at the same value start and end.

    Can u assist to correct me where i went wrong?

    Thanks!
    Nina

    Sorry, what do you mean by “LHS” Do you mean “left hand side”?
    And how does the icon look like?

    Hi Peter,

    I have upgraded to resolve 10, here is the situation,

    – I am able to select the nodes,
    – I am able to preview the second, third nods…etc
    – I can’t see the window mask selection tool in the preview, meaning, – I can apply the mask, but i can’t see where it is being applied to on the preview screen, see attached image (no selection rings)…

    Please advise

    hi Peter

    1) install over the existing resolve or
    2) uninstall the previous resolve, reinstall the new resolve 10?

    Hi Peter,

    Did the following,
    mouse left Double click, mouse middle click, right click, failed to select.

    I am able to add a new node, but as u can see the screengrab, its greyed out and i’m also unable to select.

    I decided to add in a screen grab to better explain my simple question.

    Please see the node box, no nodes are selected(i can’t select them) and one of them is greyed out)

    May 10, 2012 at 2:50 am in reply to: How to make mPEG2 1500×1200 video file?

    Hi,

    Ok what you said sounds very different from what they said to me, they wanted 1500×1200 x 3 files edge butted. Mpeg2 CBR of 20kb(which i thought was VERY LOW)

    Can i know when u say bizarre, do u mean its impossible to encode mpeg2 in size other then 1200 in height?

    Or is it just an odd size to you?

    If you have the time and patience for me, can u explain what is this Coolus Pandoras Box? Is it a pc/mac? is it a software? a standalone machine?

    But thanks for the suggestions about other formats, I will propose to them and see if they are open to other formats.

    Yes its 1500x 1200. They are joinng 3 screens to forma screen size of 4500×1200. Think they are using a coolux projector system.

    How does this coolux system work? I know it might seem irrelevant to be asking in this forum about projectors, but can it accept other formats? I can do it perfectly well in quicktime format…
