You can add as many layers as you want in the secondary, they will each connect the primary. All you have to do is put one clip over the other, like in any track based NLE. Whatever transition you add to one clip will affect the clip beneath it.

Yes you can cmnd + c to copy the clip, then highlight the clips you want, then shift + cmnd + v to paste. If you need to adjust audio for several clips at once, highlight them, the inspector indicates at the top how many clips its inspecting. You can then adjust volume, or delete effects.

I can’t see the video since its not available in Germany.
You could use the Bad TV filter in Motion, you can also publish it to make available in X.
There’s also a lot of plugins for video defects or old video looks. Motion VFX or Pixel Film Studios have a bunch. -
Check out Ripple Tools 2, part of the fxfactory package from noise industries.
It has an RT repeat filter you could use.You could also do it by simply duplicating the image, at least about 4 layers, have each layer start a little later than the previous ones, and bring opacity down to around 20 to 50% on each, then it’s just a matter of fiddling around with it to get what you need. Adding a camera shake (in X it’s the handheld filter) could also look cool.

You are adding your keyframes in the viewer, right?
When you click on the Transform icon you will notice that the skimmer disappears and the playhead turns pinkish, like the scrubber and playhead have become one.
I don’t really consider it a bug, its due to the fact that you can skim samples.
Zoom in and click around and you will see that the frame area is sometimes in front or behind the playhead. You can also move the playhead inside the frame area, since you can skim at sample level, but video keyframes are at frame level.
At times the playhead is right in the middle of the frame area. So if the frame area is on top or before the playhead, the playhead jumps back and the keyframe is set one frame before.
