Sounds like Dan has had a similar problem with Blackmagic not being accessed by the vo tool- I am going to try a USB mike.

Hmmm!

A pro mic is connected via a Spirit audio mixer through to Blackmagic, as are four different tape decks. All audio works when in the FCP capture window – but nothing when in the vo tool with decklink selected.
I did manage to have both the capture window and the vo tool opened at once – vo audio worked then. Although on trying again after changing some settings a message box now says that the capture and vo windows cannot be open at the same time – they can because I did it!
Guess there must be some fundamental snag somewhere – I’ll keep looking!
