TOGGLE External Monitor… this is the function I’ve been dreaming of!

I often use a typical 2 monitor setup and like to use the second monitor for either browsing bins or full screen playback, depending on my needs. I really could do with a keyboard shortcut to toggle between these two states and I’m a little surprised that it isn’t already a standard feature.

    …I can live in hope

Check out WinMorph – a freeware plug-in that has helped us out a few times in the past.

On Redgiant’s Support Tab it gives you a link to start a support case – this opens a web form for you to complete with your queries.

    Hope this helps

October 7, 2008 at 11:40 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro on a Mac

I would recommend holding fire for a few more weeks and waiting for the release of Adobe CS4, as this will be the second iteration of the current Mac compatible Premier Pro and is reported to be a much more integrated solution. However, CS3 is no slouch and made a welcome return for Premier on the Mac.

Whatever route you choose I would advise running the native Mac version – even Adobe commented on how well Premier runs on a Mac in comparison to the PC. Although I myself am a PC user, I would refit our PC gear with Mac hardware like a shot if I could warrant the outlay – far fewer “unknowns” in hardware conflicts and a much more efficient OS, in my opinion.

Hope you have a pleasant return to Premier.

  • Andrew Kramer has done some excellent tutorials on Light Sabers in After Effects, one here at creative Cow –

    see: https://library.creativecow.net/articles/kramer_andrew/lightsaber.php

and another on his own After Effects resource and training website –

    see: https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/light_sabers_v2/

You will also find extensive tutorials on Green Screen, Motion Tracking and a wide range of tips & tricks both here at the Cow and on Andrews site – don’t be afraid of the search function 😉

I have found that Andrew Kramer’s tutorials and the Cow resources have really opened up the world of After Effects for me – hope they do the same for you.
