    If you have the Europe region code box ticked any player here will play it – haven’t got my technical head on at the moment, I can only cite my experience of buying many US dvds and watching them here in the UK

    Thankyou Gentlemen, I think he now has the excuse he needs to upgrade. (Though I can see him leaping to FCP 7 and then I have to play catch-up. Can open, worms everywhere.)
    In the meantime we’ll look at changing the way we do this.

    I guess that’s why there are a few different types of NLE on the market – we all prioritise differently. I moved to FCP in January after three years with avid and I can’t say I’ve any desire to go back. Not because avid is poor, but because FCP fits my way of working better. There’s some niggles, but mostly I enjoy it more than Avid. If M100 works for you, stick with it!

    I love the idea that I can MAKE the audience enjoy it! I know FCP is pretty slick but hadn’t seen that feature. Maybe you get it in AVID? Or am I just not confident enough as an editor?
