Just got this note from my producer regarding an interview I cut
“Miss Smith is not exciting, we need to cut it faster to make the audience enjoy it”Ideas anyone?

If there is any plugin to make people exciting, please drop it on me.
Lately I don’t feel my self exciting at all.
No joking. Without seeing the ITW is difficult to know what is your producer talking about.
That would be really a good invention: A plugin to make producers happy.

I love the idea that I can MAKE the audience enjoy it! I know FCP is pretty slick but hadn’t seen that feature. Maybe you get it in AVID? Or am I just not confident enough as an editor?

Hi Nigel,
I think that what your producer is asking you is to try to give more “rhythm” to the editing.
Nothing that a plugin can do.
