Is there anything specific I can do to fix it?

My capturing program only lets me record in AVI. It doesn’t like some codecs (ffdshow screws up a lot). The x264 codec works really well, but Vegas doesn’t like it.

Reinstalled Vegas. Same issue.

BTW I’m running Windows 7 with a 64 bit OS. I have 64 bit Vegas. I have 8 GB DDR3 RAM and an i5 760 quad core processor. While previewing the file my CPU is at 35% and my RAM is at 30%.
I still get that stupid Frame: 3467…… thing.

Updated aviplug.dll to the 32 bit version, and I can import, but still get too much lag.

Driving myself crazy here. I got PICVideo MJPEG codec, but the files are 3x the size and look worse.
I went to reinstall all my codecs and now I can’t even open the x264 files in Vegas. Someone please save my sanity.

No I left it 60 FPS. I’m telling you video games run in 60 FPS, I get motion blur in 30 FPS.
What audio codec do you recommend for Vegas. Theres no audio when I import to vegas, but the audio from the raw file works for now.

I got it to work.
First I converted the file to an AVI using Any Video Converter and an MJPEG codec.
Then I rendered this file, and the audio lines up perfectly.
It’s an extra step but takes about 10 minutes, so its no big deal.

I’ve determined it’s not the audio, its the video.
The audio track from the raw file and the audio track from the rendered file line up perfectly. It’s the video that’s out of sync after the render.
Any ideas what’s making this happen?

I’m rendering a test file right now to see if I can get the current file to play the audio in sync, if not I’ll try with MJPEG.
