I’m actually recording from the Xbox 360, which I think does 60 FPS. Whenever I record or render in 30 FPS I get a lot of motion blur.
I think the recorded footage is 60 FPS, should I render at 60.000 FPS or 59.940 FPS?
Would changing the audio around in recording/rendering do anything?
I got K-lite codec pack, and it made the video track appear in vegas, but the frames were all blurry. There were a few clear spots, but otherwise it was just awful.
I’ve tried recording using Huffyuv in VH Capture, but it uses something like 150 GB/hour, and I only have a 640 GB drive.
I haven’t yet tried rendering the file from huffy to see if it has out of sync audio.
I think I have three options right now.
1. Continue to record with AVerMedia center, and play around with the recording/rendering settings.
2. Use Fraps to record from AVermedia center. (This makes massive files too, and it splits them up.)
3. Use Huffy/MJPEG in VH Capture.
My setup works like this:
Xbox > HDMI Splitter cable > One direct to computer monitor / One direct to capture card
My monitor is connected through DVI to my computer. My monitor has an audio out, so I was think I could capture video with AVer, but ignore the audio, run a cable from my monitor to my PC and use a sound program like Audacity to record the audio, then work at it myself to line them both up.
What I really want to know is where the problem is.
