you only need the latest merged clip as a master clip,
the others can be removed.better, keep the projects where you do your syncing work,
and copy all the final synced clips into a new project, just for editing.nick

oh, and for what it’s worth, i found effects on Prores LT do take longer to render,
certainly compared with the same effects on Prores4444.i know this from working up effects on my offline, then re-doing them on our camera originals.
i wonder if changing your timeline to Prores4444 (or something other than LT) would speed up your process?

as a side note, i suggest you take the time to RENDER your timeline before you export it.
any additional tweaks / changes will be mach faster tho deal with as the majority of your timeline is rendered,
and any re-exporting will be much faster.nick

Answer is no, you can’t do his in thre browser.
The trick is to do them en masse in a timeline, them copy / paste back into a new bin.

sometimes the client doesn’t care,
they just like seeing that HQ on the end of the file name.nick

i haven’t had major issues changing reel# after editing has commenced, other than some simple reconnect issues.
i havent used QT Change, i just do it in FCP.your issues sound pretty extreme.
i assume you have trashed preferences, etc?also you should contact Bouke, who makes QT Chang,
he wil probably offer to analyse your project file, or XMLs from itnick

both of the OPs issues are monitoring issues,
so it might be something to do with the Graphics Cards.but i wouldn’t really have a clue!
