Good grief! Cut your spot to time or make an appointment to register as unemployed.

You need to set up DVD Studio Pro to work in PAL. Everything you need is in DVDSP’s Preferences.

    It’s in QuickTime Player.

File > New Movie Recording. Set it to capture as “Device Native” in QT Player Preferences.

In QuickTime Player, with your file open, press command and J keys to get the Properties window. Click the entry for Video > Visual Settings. The checkbox for High Quality is at bottom right. If you want this to be always enabled, go to QuckTime Player in the menu bar then, Preferences > General. Click the checkbox for “Use high-quality video settings where available”.

Also bear in mind that FCP is showing your video at a lower resolution to better enable real-time playback.

Simply launch QuickTime Player and go to the menu bar: QuickTime Player > QuickTime Preferences.
Click on the Register button if you want to enter your serial number. If you have a recent copy of Final Cut Studio, you already have QT Pro activated.
