After effects is good, but I find Squeeze to work better. Much more “batch” oriented than AE.

Track a point in the shaky crappo footage
Get the tracked point to a null’s position — (however you want…)

parent the footage to the moving null — scale up if need be

I’d set it to purge every 1 frame, and have ONLY AFX running. (and your finder of course….)
Let it sit also. Our PCs in house ABSOLUTELY HATE running projects off our server, for network renders, but if I let them sit for around 10 minutes with a white AFX screen, the project loads.
Go grab a beer and cross your fingers when its rendering.

So it is in fact hardware based — if I installed win 64 it would use the 4 gigs or not?

3 gigs just sounds so abstract in the computer world.

BUT will windows 64 recognize it?
