  • Hi Justine,

It’s been a while since I used Final Cut Pro 7 but…you should be able to:

    1. Duplicate your clip and place it directly above it on the next video track with the frames matching.

(I hope this is clear…but I mean you will have two duplicate clips in the timeline stacked on video track 1 and track 2)

    2. On the top (Duplicated clip: Track 2) put a Circle mask on top of the persons face.

    3. Invert the circle.

    4. Place a blur on the (Duplicated clip: Track 2) top clip with your circle mask.

    5. Keyframe your (Duplicated clip: Track 2) top clip which will only be a blurred face in a circle as the face moves around in the frame.

    I hope this helps.Hi Justine,

  • Doug,

Thank you for your reply. I wanted to update everyone.

So I have good news. The issue has been resolved…by itself.

However I still don’t know what went wrong in the first place or why it was fixed.

I logged into my brand new YouTube video account a day later. (I should mention there were no videos added before my first video upload.)

I found (to my surprise) not 1. But 2 videos uploaded to my YouTube account.

    They were duplicate videos.

Video one was the full video missing the graphic titles.

Video two was the full video with the graphic titles.

I simply deleted the extra video missing the graphic titles.

I uploaded a test video approximately 10 seconds in length to see if I could duplicate this issue.

There were no issues with my short test clip and I haven’t had any issues since.

So to recap…the issue resolved itself.
And I’m not sure what caused the issue in the first place.

This is a strange one and still a mystery to me.

But thank for you reply Doug. I appreciate it.

I am looking to do interviews and field recordings….walk and talk…

I am looking for 2 wireless lavs:

I think the below may work.

I see there are frequency differences. Any ideas on what I should
    be getting.

    Sometimes the same kit is listed as A, B, C, D, E, F, or G.
    And the frequency changes.

What frequency should I be using?

Also I would like to go XLR into my camera. I can’t do that without an adaptor for the receiver. Correct?
