I know this is coming long after you responded to my post, and I’m sorry for that. I’ve been out of town, and our machines have been too busy to do any testing. I wasn’t able to try your solution until earlier today, and you’re absolutely right! Thank you so much. You’ve really helped us out.

John, thanks for your input. I appreciate it; however, I should have been more clear. Your solution, of simply sliding the two frames into sync, is what our editors have been doing, and it’s simply too time consuming. I was really hoping there would be a way to correct the problem at ingest so we could avoid this tedious inconvenience. Again, thanks for your input.

I can’t seem to figure out how to correct for this 2 frame offset in FCP. I assumed it would be a simple adjustment in the Capture Preset settings or the Device Control Preset settings. Could you tell me how you’re accessing and modifying this offset control.
