Yes, I know exactly what I need to do and have done it a zillion times. It’s incredibly simple (yet boring). The problem is, in this case I am provided the PowerPoint bullet point builds in a completed, one image file, which precludes me from building them at the timing of the speaker’s spiel.
What I need is someone who knows the inside workings of PP, since I can not find it in the menus or in searching on Google, as to how to break each of these bullet points into its own image, and individual JPEG, so I can add the points as the speaker drones on. Capeesh?
In sum, if a slide had six different bullet points individually stacked, and the presenter was able to add them one at a time using the clicker, how can I do the same now so I can stack them in the timeline?
I have no idea what you are talking about regarding storyboarding, this is very simple except for the technical problem of separating them in PowerPoint, IF that’s even doable? I was hoping someone on this forum knows PowerPoint and has had this issue before. When I asked my client if she could separate the bullet points so I can create the build she did not know how.
There is a very labor intensive work around way to do this, such as I can make a mask of the same color as the background, but that is too time consuming for the rate I am doing this.

I didn’t notice I had a problem with Hightail except over several months, with some clients who were under very tight deadlines, they complained I had NOT sent them their videos, but I had. It never occurred to me that the Hightail notification system was down, which I beieve is common. I thought the notification ended up in their spam folder or some other nuisance location.
In one instance the client notification was only delayed a few hours but the one the other day, which started this thread, I edited for a law firm and they were going into court! They don’t mess around, it’s trial time. So I called Hightail and as before, the child in customer service told me more than he should: They are looking for a new vendor that will provide the notification without delay or crashing. Once more it was confirmed that the weak link is their notification.
So in sum, some of my issues were that the notification was delayed for just a few hours, other times it was literally days! In the latter case the client though I was a slow editor so did not contact me.
Also, lately I had a client who needed me to change the copyrights at the end of their videos. Did you know that Hightail will not accept any file name that has a character beside -, _ or a period? It just goes into the ozone if you have a character beside those 3…Who knew?

You is smart!!!! I should have thought of that. Oh well. I cancelled it today. I looked at Walt’s suggestions but it does seem that the client world uses Dropbox themselves, so I guess I’ll do what the Romans do.

I forgot to mention, I not only keep my Time Machine hard drive disconnected from the internet but I unplug it from AC power.
I had a neighbor whose tree was struck by lightning. The juice went through the ground, entered his house’s electrical system somehow and BLEW EVERYTHING CONNECTED TO AN OUTLET OR POWER STRIP. And yes, he had surge protectors for his big screen TV, etc., just fried everything. That stuck in my head. I guess I need NASA certified surge protectors? I just have Best Buy level surge protectors.
My parents would make us get off the land line and not be in the shower during a Midwestern thunderstorm. So I suppose it can enter one’s house? More reason to research cloud storage I guess.

I asked my wife why she decides to buy a DVD rather than just stream and she said that when she has the DVD she is not beholden to the recurring monthly fees, so I think knowing the demographics’s buying behavior is key. Also, she has a collector’s mentality to wanting to “own” a nice looking DVD, like a book. Maybe it’s generational? With something like her knitting and weaving, where you have to see tiny detail, perhaps the DVD on a large TV screen gives her better detail? Oh, she’s a pack rat so that plays into owning.
I tried to get rich quick (didn’t work out as you see) producing and selling what was in the 80’s & 90’s called Special Interest videos. In fact, Blockbuster had a section by that name. I used to belong to SIVA. The titles usually started out with the two words, “How To. Mainly with an expert to host for ego and a slice. Sometimes I had partners, other times I went solo. I learned a lot and the most important the take away:
PEOPLE WILL NOT SPEND FOR SOMETHING THEY CAN GET FOR FREE.
