It was made back in the day when Macromedia Director had a similar transition. It was a 8-bit graphics cheat that was like a dissolve.

Maybe if you wanted to replicate a cheesy 90’s videogame with full motion video? An Animated GIF? Something purposely bad and PowerPointy? Or you are doing special effects for Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!

Maybe we should start over with the original question: How would you get leading zeroes *and* and fixed decimals in one expression?

So I could get counters to display values like : “000126.5700” or “005.00”

Yeah, but then you are losing the leading zeros from the original expression. (but I never got it to work)

Is there a way to write this using a keyframe index number instead of it being time-based?

So the slider only has to go between values of 1~2 (or what number of keyframes there are) instead of mentally calculating AE’s weird .time value?
