Thanks Eric for replying. The size of the drawing I did in Photoshop is 6858 × 2880. I know it’s ridiculously large but I need to have that size since I have a lot of area to orbit and pan in AE.

I’m currently learning JS and wondering if it will eventually help me to understand AE expressions and scripts. For what I have learned AE Extended Script uses JS, too.

PSD stack the later on top of each other and NOT progressively like in animation.

Why do you want to save it as PSD anyway?

PS is an image editing software and not good for animation, though you can do it but you’re just wasting time and really hindering yourself the chance to learn other software. Use AE instead or other video/motion graphic software.

Yes, you can draw on a frame.

then move to the next frame and have what I started still be there

You can copy what you draw on the previous layer and paste it to the next frame then continuing the motion of the drawing.
