Draw progressively?
I’m working on a video which I’ve imported to PS and added a blank layer on top which I draw on. So far it’s been effective that i draw on one frame and then move to the next frame and start fresh, but now I’m trying to achieve something else and want to know if it’s possible.
Can I start drawing on a frame, then move to the next frame and have what I started still be there so I can add on (not an onion skin reference, actually be there). This way during video playback, you actually see the drawing happen over time?

Yes, you can draw on a frame.
then move to the next frame and have what I started still be there
You can copy what you draw on the previous layer and paste it to the next frame then continuing the motion of the drawing.
