I have about 35 clips as well.
Is there some magic to allow you to automatically lay each clip to the
XDCAM as clips, rather than as a sequece?

Did you export the clip at the length you want it? Otherwise Motion will take it in with the original
    in and out point!

[Ash Reeves] “I am trying to make a clip a few seconds in length run in slow motion in FCP, and quite frankly, the results are horrible. I’ve heard that Motion is the way forward to get results, so I have sent said clip to Motion. But here is the problem…

I have about 50 odd gb of hard drive space. But as soon as I select Optical Flow for my clip it says I don’t have enough hard drive space, and on further inspection it turns out I only have about 200 or so of mb space left! What is going on?

I tried to overlook this obscurity and deleted some stuff to free up for space (about 5gb). This allows me to perform an optical flow. However, it says it will take about 28 hours to do. Which is just ridiculous! Obviously there are a couple of serious issues here. Is anyone able to shed some light on any of them? Thankyou.

Ahh, but I’d say it looks like 3ds Max Krakatoa, but no way to tell for sure! <:

Just for Yuks, try 29.97 Canadian style, maybe Youtube is optimised for this frame rate.
    It’s worth a try.

It looks like it is 3ds Max , and Kraktoa, if you ask me.
But After Effects has some decent particles as well.

Having a 3D camera, 3d Groups, but only 2D attributes on lines is totally stupid.
    If the Apple people would have looked over the defacto standard for animation, 3ds Max;
they would have seen that lines handles could be manipulated on all 3 axises.

Also, the y axis is wrong, as this is the z axis in 3ds Max.

I see the browser picture you posted, but nothing pops up when i connect the XDCAM via firewire at all. You’d expect it to pop up
on Windows My Computer as a drive right? This does not happen.

I am wondering why the XDCAM connects to the Mac no problem, but are
i7 Windows machine does not see the connection. I think this is the
    first problem
