    I cannot see how it is possible to get a timecode dialog box. Nothing happens when I click in the monitor viewer : (

    Try selecting the clip in the timeline and do a Match Frame (F) – this should bring the original clip into the viewer, and give you the possibility to drag audio only to the timeline.

    if you have handles you could try moving the clip a layer up, and prolonging the duration. Then apply stabiliser and trim back to original length.

    We tried to import an EDL into AVID but no luck. Is there a way to do this outside the import function? Of course I could simply print the EDL and enter all the time codes manually, but that would a hazzle. Also I cannot see how and where you can enter timecode IN and OUT points numerically in Avid.
