  • would this help with bringing in just the shots you want https://www.spherico.com/filmtools/X-Files/VCC.pdf but probably not with consolidate out.

I agree this is a big deal to have overlooked this.

dupe detection too…how hard could that be to code.

After Oliver’s question is answered and not to hijack, I have the exact same question for the new macbook air…I think even without the bmd gpu it might be able to cut 1080 fine and maybe 4k. I still use only 1080 now.

I have a mid 2012 retina macbook pro2.6ghz/i7/16g ram that works fine for me now but it’s so heavy when traveling and what a joy it would be to have an air and a small thunderbolt drive to cut anywhere and then use an egpu and large monitor for regular high horsepower set up.

I’m having the same issue as Oliver Peters in that I can blade on any subframe but the next one has to be a frame away. I believe in Pr you can select 1 subframe so you can’t in X? I was able to make a 1 subframe range and keyframe it to zero in between but I would like to blade wherever I want in and out and slip to remove unwanted audio. Am I missing something?

Installed Bamboo CTH670 today on OSX 10.11.1 using driver 5.3.6-6 running Premier Pro CC 2015 works perfect with keyframes, curves, sliders, the only strange behavior is sliding in the timeline is delayed in the source slider button but falls to the correct spot.

April 20, 2012 at 1:13 pm in reply to: GH2 Hack – Which SD card to use?

I believe if you follow the info on the hack they specify the faster 95MB/s card especially for the driftwood. I use the 95MB/s card with the driftwood and it records fine but the files are taxing on the performance of my older macbook pro…the images do look nice but I might agree with Jason. Learn the camera first and then try those. The base settings on the stock camera are stunning!

  • ditto
I last used Leo’s plugin in a very early version and it did read source code…only reads project code in .4 now.

  • hi Rafael and Jason again..aside fomr the hck, can you share some of your general settings? Which film mode settings?..do you dial down noise reduction etc? Lenses?

any info appreciaed…going form an hmc-150…this is all new and I agree I will just use the stock 1.1. firmware until I know the camera better.

    tia,
