On the Blackmagic site the recommended configuration for a PowerMac G5 is FCP 5.0.4!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? What am I suppose to do now?? I can’t go back to FCP 5.0.4 cause I upgraded from 4.5 to 5.1.1 Does anyone have any suggestions?

well all was good for a while there and now the same problem is happening. the system isn’t recognizing a second monitor and the Decklink Panel is again greyed out.

found 5.6.3 and IT WORKED! Thanks so much. The name “multibridge” threw me.

I’ve tried Decklink 5.6.2 but I don’t see 5.6.3. Have you heard of this issue before?

I am getting an error message in FCP when i change my easy setup to Blackmagic NTSC 8- bit. It reads: The computer doesn’t have Serial Port required for this protocol. Any ideas. I’m really stuck here.
