Hi,
I really like the Seritek. They are two drive enclosures but can be laid sideways (they come with feet for this purpose) and stacked. One shortcoming of SATA drives is the connectors are easily broken. The Seritek use hot swapable trays so you never actually plug a connector into the drive. They are reviewed here:

I second the Crucial.com recommendation.
I have also made a couple of purchases from Expercom. No problems.
Although the no sales tax is a minor hassle. You need to (grin) save the receipts and add it all up by April 15 of the following year.

Oh, DVD recorder. Try a different brand of DVD recorder. Or maybe a newer model. Do some investigation. There must be an online forum devoted to DVD recorders where members are knowledgeable about compatibility.

An Inkjet or Thermal printer that prints directly on the disc. Epson makes a couple of Inkjet models. Primera makes a Thermal.
