I meant to do little more sophisticated effect with cracks actually widening as they advance from source point….
Something like lightning but not that exact shape and branching..less random and equal distribution of branch strength.. The standard lightning supplied in AE is not suitable for that job I think. -

yeah…dads the problem…the shining source is at the bottom of screen and I need it to project some text on screen

Hi…to make it more clear it should look like a splash of blood in Kill Bill when somebody was killed by the sword ….this left a protracted line of blood on a ground or on a wall

Is there any viewer which streams backwards or forward with help of some slider ?? I know that it is possible to export to qt vr from any 3d application, but I have compiled an animation mixing more modes (wireframe, final render) with help of 3d channel extract and .rpf data export from 3d … What I want to do is a application with some similar slider control of playback…????Cheers so far

do i have to animate it somehow to see the result ? The effect in the tutorial is applied to text effect and I dont know for what reason but when I apply it to my video I do not achieve any result ..
