    Thanks Shane,
It’s just annoying and huge space usage H264 to ProRes. Thats how I am working currently, most of the format to PRoRes. Seems that Premiere will get many FCP users soon. Shame anyway of Apple’s FCP. But this has to move to another forum, thus I prefer FCP 7.

    Cheers,

Trashing the Preferences did not work either, FCP or Compressor.
    Any idea why this happened?

    Thanks,

    Hi Michael,

Sorry about the confusion. Of course it’s Compressor 3. My laptop have FCS 3 and usually using this one. Of course I could import the project from FCP 6 to FCP 7 and export it there, but I was wondering why this problem appear. Also I don’t have the laptop in hand all the time.

Does anyone have any idea why this issue occur? For the future reference.

    Thanks,
    Mircea

As far as I know after you do the multiclip sequence you just have to click on the green video that you choose from the Viewer and the sequence clip will be automatically cut.
Thanks for the help, now it works fine.

    Best regards,

Jaap, thank you very much. It is working exactly as you said.
Any idea why it doesn’t work just to click the green clip (the one you wanna make it active) from the Viewer as described by Apple?
But yes, it is working this way and it makes is safer for any mistakes then the previous method.

    Thanks again,

    Hi Jaap,

First of all thanks for the reply.
My problem is that after I am doing the multiclip sequence, when I start changing the channels from Viewer (when the colour is green then this is the active channel) then the Sequence on the bottom is not cutting the clip to create the clip I want. When I am changing the channel the entire Sequence clip is changing too. There is no way in cutting itwhen selected the green channel from the Viewer. I might do something wrong, I search all over the internet for similar issues but cannot find anything.
I tried your suggestions again (did it before too) but no results. Trash the preferences, nothing happened.

    Thanks,
    Mircea
