Timecode issue on “Capture Now”
Hi all, this is a weird one.
We’re doing Capture Now on HDCam, downconverting to SD, with it set to create a new clip on each timecode break.
Most clips are coming in with the correct timecode, but a few per tape are coming in with a timecode starting at 00.00.00. The timecode is showing up correct in the deck and in log&capture, but it’s resetting to zero when it’s actually brought in.
Re-capturing the entire tape replicates the problem with the same clips having timecodes reset.Can anyone shed any light? Daytime TV depends on it!

hi,
It might be from the tapes. check the timecode from the camera when the timecode reset appear on the computer.
