    Hey…

What will happen to all my current 6.5 plugins? Will they automatically be part of 7 if I install it? Or do I have to reinstall them all?

Yeah… I do all mine in AE… just export as an .flv, and then import that into Flash…. then you can add more elements over the top of it in Flash if need be…. and also control it with actionscripting if you need to….

    Hey..

Guess I should figured “Pre-Pro” was “Premiere”… not up on the lingo!

I just tried bringing into Pre-Pro, and it never leaves the “Importing Files” screen…so I guess therein lies the problem, it doesn’t seem to be a true avi file….

These files were ripped from DVD using AOA DVD ripper, and ripped into a DivX compression….

Would you have any idea as to how I can convert these to true avi so I can bring them into Audition and normalize all of the audio?

Thanks for all of your time and help, you’re very handy!:)

    Cheers,
    Mike

No, I don’t have pre-pro, I’ve never heard of it… I’ll take a look around to see if I can find it and give it a try…

    Thanks again…

    Thanks for responding…

No I have DivX installed on this computer, and I have no problems looking at other DivX compressed files… just won’t recognize the ones I need it too! Although they work fine using Windows Media Player…

    Thanks for your response…

I can’t change the file type becuase I have 800+ files, and they are limited to what size they can be… They are currently AVI’s, but are compressed with DivX… I can bring other DivX compressed files in with success, just none of the ones I need to!

When I try to bring the file into After Effects it gives me the warning “No Such Avi Compressor” … but I can watch and listen to the file perfectly using Windows Media Player…

Thanks for the reply, Where should I right-click on the video file to get that export option? I’ve tried R-Clicking on the video in the multitrack and files section but I don’t see an export option…

Does anyone know of a batch way to do this? 800+ files will take a loooooong time!

    Thanks again!

    Hello Again,

Just to be clear and update my progress, I’ve managed to import a folder of AVI’s into audition and have ran the “Group Waveform Normalize” on all of the audio…. Now I have a listing of all of the video files separate from their normalized audio files… how can I export all of the Video files with their updated audio in a batch?

    Thanks!
