Dunno if you checked it out, there are two settings: Subdivision Editor and Subdivision Renderer.. Maybe the second setting is set very high?
Baking it is as simple as pressing the ‘C’ key to convert it into an editable object (and it will take the ‘subdivision render’ setting to do so)

    hope it helps

    Hey thanks!
yes the thing is there needs to be a shitload of book.. nonetheless, i might just go for copying like you suggest.. and try to bake the simulations in a few passes.. see if i can get away with that 😉 did a few tests already with a couple of hundred, and it´s still not too heavy, but still if i can find a less destructive way i´ll be a happy man…

    cheers!

    Hi Gustavo,
If you choose objects-sky-create sky you’ll have the sky-object with alle the settings you’re looking for. Hope that works for you!

    cheers

  • hey Adam, thanx, but the thing is that I need to influence the y position through the shader effector, not the color… I guess that’s not possible by just applying the texture to the cloner.. izzit?

    but still.. thanx!
