  • Some of them are custom LUTs from Jame’s Miller’s DELUTS but others are Adobe LUTs. I think the Adobe LUTs came with the software but I’m not certain.

I didn’t know there was a new release. I just looked on the menu bar icon and it’s not showing an update, is there another way to access this?

  • I’m storing the LUTs on my internal hard drive in Adobe Premiere Pro CC>Contents>Lumetri>LUTs>Creative

I looked at my preferences and the box for “import sequences natively” is checked.

Is there another location on my hard drive where I can store the LUTs?

    Thanks,

    Mike

So it worked for the first few clips that I exported which previously had issues, but then the last clip still had the same issue. Also, it doesn’t seem like it’s just when audio files are used. I exported a clip of just video footage with audio from the camera’s internal mic and I got the same issue. What could be causing this?

I tried clearing the cache and that seemed to have solved it. Any ideas why this was happening and how to prevent it in the future? Is there a way to set Premiere to automatically clear cache each day? Why do we even need cache? lol

I originally had an MP4 file that I downloaded from Youtube and just used the audio track from it. I thought the same thing and converted it to AIFF but the issue is still happening. I will try clearing cache and see if that helps.

I do have a Matrox MX02 mini hooked up. I’ll check to see if there’s a firmware update because I think this issue started once I upgraded to El Capitan and I don’t remember if I ever updated the firmware.

  • Thanks for that info, do you have any idea why the CS6 project files could be crashing Premiere on my computer? It’s only when I double click on the audio files from our portable recorder. Otherwise it works just fine.

  • Awesome, I will try that out! Thanks!

That sounds like a great solution, I’ll work on that this week!

    Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who replied 🙂 I think I will need to have a talk with the producer to see if she will hire someone else to mix the audio. I’d love to learn how to do all of this but I can foresee it taking quite a bit of time and lots of trial and error.
