I think that after almost 2 hours of troubleshooting (checking dimensions of image vs. video vs. sequence, field settings/dominance, different image formats, etc, etc), I finally discovered the cause to the problem.
If one of my video files that I was multi-camming between had just a “Color Balance” effect on it (this is on the sequence that has four cameras synced; and that one sequence is now on V1 of my edited/final sequence) and is the active clip when the lower third graphic appears, the video jumps…..but only when it IS rendered.
I had other cameras that I used “Color Balance” on along with “Fast Color Corrector” and these clips didn’t not exhibit the jump. So my quick fix for the time being is the simply add a “Fast Color Corrector” effect to the troubled files and not actually tweak any of the settings on it.
Now I’m off to continue re-checking, re-rendering, and re-mastering. Fun! 😉
