    Wow, nevermind. I was just working on other projects, reopened the one at issue, and it scrubs and plays back fine. The whole thing didn’t make any sense to me. I did however, repair my hardrive via mac utilities… maybe that had something to do with it. Thanks for your help.

    Interesting. The rendered files aren’t offline… which, is slightly odd considering they were re rendered at home. But this could be the issue. I’m always nervous to use the media manager – I don’t want to dig myself deeper into a hole. What steps, using media manager, would I have to do to change the rendered files, without messing up the clips, timeline, etc – basically so I can still open it and re render the files if this goes wrong.

    Hey, by any chance. What settings would you use to export to NTSC SD for solid results, if you had no size restrictions? (besides uncompressed, some reason that doesn’t work in FCP)
