    hey tom! i ended up turning off my aja io HD which i use to dig from my dbeta, then re-booting my mac, now all is working again. gremlins!

    any way, here’s some info regarding my system…Thanks!

    yes, it is a great mic! i rigged it thru my dvx100b, worked fine. i do have a mixing board, just need to figure out the wiring…

    i selected “export”, then saved to the desktop, preset = custom, exported items = selected tracks, busses and submixes, file typ = aiff file, 16 bit, 48k, the send files to FCP sequence

    then the FCP import XML dialog box, destination = create new project, seq settings = default, options = reconnect to media, include markers and include audio/video effects

    i just did all the above again, and now, not only did the tracks not show up in FCP timeline, there is no audio playback at all…

    i think i just need to play around to figure out what is going on!

    thanks jeremy…i did get it to export, but, everything moved 1:09 out of sync with the video…? also, i forgot to put a fade out o0n the end of a music track, and FCP won’t allow me to add the fade? and, even when i reopened the project in STP and added the fade i wanted, re-exported, the fade didn’t show up in FCP…?

    it’s FCP STUDIO2 HD (the latest with FCP 6)
