avid to fcp hd studio 2
hey professionals!
i am the director of broadcast production for an ad agency. i have an avid suite that i want to dismantle and replace it with a (simpler) FCP system. here is what i think i want/need:
final cut studio 2 hd
macbook pro, 17″ (to take projuects on the road)
mac pro desktop quad core xenon, 3 gig ram
30″ display
1TB raid
panasonic miniDV deck AG-DV2500 (for input and output)
sony dbeta deck (for input and output)
sony pro VHS deck (for input and output)
sony Beta SP deck (for input and output)
aja IOHD capture device (firewire 800 A/D capture w/ProRes 422
M-Audio firewire audio interface (firewire 410)
EV mic
sony production monitorDVD recorder (i’d like to be able to play back a timeline and, real time, rip it to DVD, any recommendations on a model?)
can anyone tell if i’m missing anything here? or, any tweaks to this?
