    I do have a frame rate warning that the footage is 29.97 and it wants it in 59.94.
    I’m working with interlaced footage that I haven’t separated fields on.
    The footage is 720×480 29.97fps, the composition is 1920×1080 23.976fps.
    Basically it’s all wrong. And on top of that when I bring it into After effects it looks like after effects stripped about half the pixels away. There is a severe amount of deterioration in the footage that we don’t see on the raw clips (prior to any masking or even placing it into a composition).

    I have the same problem except that the render is still wonky after freezing the selection. Any ideas?

    yes.
    I have several multi clip sequences I am working with in this project and some of them have the issue and some do not. The media in the sequences are all the same codecs, the sequences and multi cams were all set up in the same process. All the settings match perfectly.

    Would it be almost premature to just say that this is an fcp hickip that would work it’s self out?
    The sequences worked yesterday, one of them even worked this morning. But now half of them have problems.
    I have restarted the application, trashed my preferences, and restarted the computer and no progress.

    I opened the sync and it is still acting the same. Anything else…? quite puzzling

    I am having a similar problem.
    When I click back into the sequence after opening the sync it still only plays back the active angle.
    When I pause it will show me all the angles but while playing I am only shown the active camera.
