  • Viewer stays still when I try to playback a multiclip

Posted by Yurii Hydrick on January 15, 2011 at 7:41 pm

    Hello,

I’m having a problem when I try to play back a multiclip. There are five streams of ProRes Proxy (720×405 1.5 MB/sec per stream).

When I open the multiclip in the Viewer and hit play, the Viewer will only play the selected angle. When I drag the multiclip into a sequence and open the sync and hit play, the canvas plays, but the Viewer stays static on whatever the last frame was until I hit stop again… then it catches up to the current frame in the timeline.

I’m very grateful for any help.

    Best,

    Yurii

Try this: with the Viewer set for Open sync, click in (select) the timeline, THEN hit play. Does that work?

I am having a similar problem.
When I click back into the sequence after opening the sync it still only plays back the active angle.
When I pause it will show me all the angles but while playing I am only shown the active camera.
