I use Encore and have never had any issues. I export via PP with the mpeg2-dvd selection and bring the files into Encore.

You stated in your first post that you tried to export to WinMedia. Is it safe to assume that any export tried from PP will crash or have you had some success? If you have not had success, have you tried exported to a different drive?

A couple questions regarding your post… You are using PP export to make the BR correct? Have you tried Adobe Media Encoder? Are you planning on using Encore to make the BR disc? Have you tried making a test sequence or project and exporting that using the same BR settings? Perhaps with just one clip.

    Kevin,
Are you trying to render or export?
A few things to try in trouble shooting if you are trying to export:
Did you try exporting 3/4 or your video?
Did you try exporting all but the last frame?
Did you try exporting to another codec?

It sounds like your creating a data disc with the dvd files you created with Media Encoder( .m2v @ .wav). The next step would be to take those and use Adobe Encoder (from CS6) or another authoring program to create a disc that can be used in a dvd player.

How are you making the dvd once the dvd files have been created? Via Adobe Encore?

  • In the project bin area where your titles are kept. If you highlight /click on, the files whose duration you want to change. Right click and select Speed/Duration. You can chance the duration for all those titles at once.
