I bought another HVX200 and 2 x 16GB cards from a smaller dealer.
Took me 3 days before I got both camera and cards delivered.This was 4 weeks ago.

That’s great but I still don’t understand why P2 cards are so expensive!
the 16 GB cards are just raided 4 x 4 GB secure digital cards.
The actual memory cost less $200 retail! -

I’m no expert, but I would say no.
There is a switch at the back of the camera that set it to P2 or Tape.
When you change it it sounds like the camera reboots.There is no switch for P2+Tape

well that’s part of the production workflow, so yes, but most important what gear works best with the macs.
