I continued to use Premiere 6.5 when I can’t figure how to accomplish something in CS3 but had no problem converting my 6.5 files to CS3 but it will not go the- other way … Good Idea going to Final Cut saves U a lot of frustration, Right?

Spend $25 at total training .com or Lynda.com and go through there Tutorials … they are both sometimes incomplete but very good for $25 . infact both have an introductory phase. I just went through the exact thing you are trying to do and I beleave it was at total training … hope this helps … the explination would be too complicated to explain here.

My advise for what it’s worth … if U want something that doesn’t hang up and freeze when running Premiere get a Big Macintosh … I hate to say it but it’l save U a lot of frustation in the end … and if U can swing it upgrade to Final Cut, blows any thing in the price range away hands down … sure wish I’d have gone that rought.

I under stand that U must set Unnumbered markers either with the * astric key or clicking on the unnumbered make thing (third from the left top left cornor of the sequance panel… I do this then click on the automate to sequance tab on the project panel where I have highlited the clips I want automated to the sequence … then when the automate to sequance panel popup appears and I chose the placement pull down there is no choice for Unnumbered Markers only sequuentally appears as a choice … never have this problem with the same clips when using Premiere Pro 1.0 so I know I’m doing it correctly … the choice to use Unnumbered markers never appears. Adobe will not talk to me and their CRAP SOFTWARE doesn’t work …
