I used to edit on Premiere 6 but haven’t used it in about, oh, five years or so. I currently edit with Final Cut Studio. However, I still have Premiere 6 on my other computer.

I just got a freelance client whose company does a lot of videos in-house (they are not in video production) who have decided that they need someone else to edit for them. They have CS4 and would prefer to have me send them back Premiere project files in addition to the edited, compressed files, just in case they decide to add or delete something from the video in the future and want to do it in-house.

Is it possible for them to open and edit a Premiere 6 project file, or do I need to find another solution for them?

I continued to use Premiere 6.5 when I can’t figure how to accomplish something in CS3 but had no problem converting my 6.5 files to CS3 but it will not go the- other way … Good Idea going to Final Cut saves U a lot of frustration, Right?
