For the initial Adobe CC release, the MacOS Boris RED plugins were installed into:
    /Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CC/Adobe Premiere Pro CC.app/Contents/Plug-Ins/Common
The Boris RED plugins can be copied from here.

For CC 2014, they are installed into:
/Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014/Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.app/Contents/Plug-Ins/Common

If you select the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.app application and control click it, then choose Show Package Contents, you’ll be able to open the folder above and copy the plugins into it.

If the uninstall gets stuck, the Microsoft tool in the note below will successfully uninstall Avid FX 6.0.3 for you. Then you’ll be able to install Avid FX 6.3.

  • The download page is updated to list the Adobe options as separate items now. The Mac installer includes all of the Apple and Adobe hosts. All of the options resolve to downloading the same installer.

On Friday the BCC AE 7 installers with CS 5.5 options were taken down for a quick adjustment, and they will be reposted tomorrow. We’d noticed a couple filters were unavailable.
    For today, on Macintosh,
    Copy the folder
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS5/MediaCore/Boris Continuum Complete 7.0
    which holds the plugins

    into the folder:
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS5.5/MediaCore/

The plugins had been approved for Adobe CS 5.5, and the installers with Light Zoom and DeNoise Grain will be posted, again, tomorrow.

February 22, 2011 at 10:22 pm in reply to: How to get rid of Boris FX?

A complete install of Boris Continuum Complete 7 for Sony Vegas Pro will appear with this name in Add/remove programs:
    BCC 7 OFX 64Bit
    or
    BCC 7 OFX 32Bit

The location of the plugins is either
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins
    or
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\OFX\Plugins
and removing the 2 BCC .bundle folders there will surely make the plugins render no longer.
