i think i can live with it for now, it’s just weird i can play things fromt he timeline fine, but as soon as try to play something in the source or record window, it goes bonkers. strangely though it will play if drag the indicator to the beginning of either composer window, so go figure?!

good stuff, i was just wondering why the second(dotted) indicator becomes the
mark out point, so when i lift, i’m lifting one frame that i didn’t want (i know i’m pretty anal about editting, lol) as compared with the other nle’s that don’t do that

thanks gaspar for you reply. most of our tapings run on forever (almost thirty minutes from three cameras) so i have to cut up the interviews and capture it in concise parts to save space on our hard drives, which makes the use of the flash and slate useless for me later on. unless there is a way to see my soundwave in the source window, i just feel allot more confident editting in the timeline because i can see a visible soundwave. but i guess all in all, i’m getting the impression i can’t slide clips once they’re grouped.

i doubt it, but does my problem have anything to do w/ running windows xp home edition? and also has constantly updating ‘microsoft updates’ affected anyone?
