Its not that bad once you get the hang of it, just think of it this way, make a 3d block (requires 6 solids), and then parent all six solids to a null object, so that when the null moves or rotates so does the block, and if you want to go further into detail then you can parent the camera to another null.

thought it was good too, but the ending with she shine and text does not fit the video change it up a bit to see if you can have it sort of match the theme of the video, but hey, great video.

I am having the same problem as you and i run a Mac Pro, i dont expierence the problem as much when i click the minimize button in the top left, where as i use to do “after effects” > hide, and that caused a lot of problems. Save all the time and good luck.

Trapcode plugin – Particular would be great for this, i used it for the same exact thing, great results if you know what your doing. YOu might want to look at using a custom particle for the effects particle playground.

I would also like to add that it seems as though you are masking the car? It might be easier to mask the actor , and then on impact follow the actor with the front of the car, i.e transform the rotoscoped actors position with the hood of the car, and if the car is driving fast enough it will look legit.

Do you use limewire, bearshare or other p2p programs like those? Because library files like those will defintley slow down your computer. Other than that i dont know what it could be and i would try calling adobe support.

I would try messing with Mr.Mercury on a blue animated fractal noise and maybe Trapcode’s Particular, you can get a decent liquid effect with that.

Well, it sounds like your working on a Windows which can be problematic sometimes but then again so can a mac. Its really all about how powerfull the pc is (video card, ram, ect.) If it just started happening recently then it might just be an odd bug that popped for a bit, sometimes my computer will run slow but try shutting the computer down and turning it back on and make sure all other apps are closed when running after effects. And of course no matter what, if your project uses a lot of effects like glows or plug ins then its going to run slow no matter what.
