Oh, yes, Keylight can often work just fine sans color correction. Log footage often has plenty of information present. 🙂

Try uploading your image directly here using the image upload button or, if it’s a video, to a more widely known service. I can’t see your example from here.

There are some settings you can adjust in CC Wire Removal that might help. Could you be more specific about how it wasn’t working for you? There are clone stamp tools you could use, but from the look of things, CC Wire Removal would be the easiest.

How do you plan to make these lines with depth of field?
If the objects don’t change position in z space, but just move in x and y, why not just make your blur on the lines and fake it?

Without doing it manually, you will need to look at something like Cloners + Effectors from AEScripts or you could make this in Cinema 4D.

There are many logo to smoke or text to smoke tutorials out there that you can follow. That little shockwave at the end could be done by using Shockwave from Video Copilot (or from the Video Copilot tutorial on how to make one without buying the package).

CS4? Yikes. Too bad it’s not a newer version. In newer versions, you could use the sourceRectAtTime expression to make this much easier.
What’s the entirety of your expression?

  • My guess is that Windows tried to be helpful and installed a GPU driver that isn’t working properly. What GPU do you have?

Or make a null object, make it 3d, scoot your main object to the side a little bit, parent it to the null object, and then rotate the null object on the y axis.
