hello everybody, i hope you are doing great.
I’ve used an expression for the property size of a rectangle in shape layer, that assign it the size of a text layer bounding box, as i use cs4, it is a basic expression that keeps reading the text layer which really slow down the computer, I’ve tried to control it with “if checkbox == 1, else” but it doesn’t maintain the values it returned when i uncheck box. what to do ??

CS4? Yikes. Too bad it’s not a newer version. In newer versions, you could use the sourceRectAtTime expression to make this much easier.
What’s the entirety of your expression?
