the problem is that the next chapter button is not meant to do that and it is left up to a player design as to what it does next. Some will do what you want (but in the order of the title sets) some will do nothing, and some will do what you are describing). To get it to anyways do what you want you need to place all the videos in the same track and then split them as needed with stories.
Of in DVDSP you can set the tracks “next jump” to the next track’s first chapter. This is done in the connections tab. Make sure you also set the “prev jump to the previous’ track’s last chapter. Not sure how consistent this will work.

Don’t know what you are not using, but DVDSP cannot fade audio. This is a job best done in your editing or sound app.

It is more than writing to two DLT your project needs to be a DVD-9 with a valid layer break. Most retail DVDs are DVD-9s. The majority of problems are authoring mistakes. A DVD-9 would be a lot cheaper to manufacture than 2 DVD-5s.
5 hours is a lot to get onto a DVD-9 so you will be lowering quality. Need to average 3.4 Mbps on the video if you use ac3 audio at .192 Mbps.

DVPro is alway 29.97/59.94, you have to add the pulldown to record to tape. There is no 23.98/24P to tape. The P2 cameras can do native because there is no tape.
Also firewire only supports video in “over 60”

I would definitely recommend not using the camera also, just people should know it is an option. Also with the adapter you can work all day with any 2 cards since it copies fast than it records so while you are copying one card you can be recording to the second. Of course it is harder if you are recording now stop action like a long concert.

The MBP will read the P2 card via the camera. So this is a workflow question and not a what must I have.
The Duel Adapter works well and it gives you 2 major benefits. 1) you can be using the camera while you are downloading another card to your computer. 2) It transfers at least 2x as fast as when using the camera.
The adapter is very reasonably priced at $120. I had one go back but the company did an advanced replacement which was great.

On everything (other than DV25) the internal mic is always being recorded. If you have external mics in 1 and 2 the internal moves to channels 3 and 4. So it is always there. Not a real big deal, I normal disable those channels before importing but if I need it for any reason it is there.
One trip I use if I only have one external mic is to plug that into Mic 2 and then set channel 1 and 2 both on Mic 2. Then I change the input levels a little lower on one. This gives me a safety if the levels goes to high on the one.

Yes, look up info on setting up a Virtual Cluster in QMaster but you need more RAM (at least 1 GB/processor that you turned on).Could you not capture to this codec? Seems like the workflow doesn’t trust the selling points of the codec if you can capture, the real savings is if you don’t waste the space capturing HD uncompressed.

I can confirm that the image and TC don’t match between the 7 cameras and the program tape. The program tape always has one of the cameras and when you switch to the camera that was used for the program it is 2 frames off. Program is later.
Guess wondering if anyone else run into this or if there was something I did wrong but like I said I logged the one tape and captured all the tapes off of that batch.

It simply cannot be done. You are jumping from the middle of one movie to the beginning of another movie. Don’t even believe this is possible with BluRay (maybe with Java but it would cost $1000s to pull off the script)
To do what you want the movie has to stay and just the button images need to move. Sorry nothing even close other then what you have already described but… if the buttons move fast you don’t notice the jump in background because you are distracted by flying buttons. Also for the sake of your viewers transitions should be very very short, 1 second is fine. I like transitions the 1st time I see them but if it is something that I’m jumping around a lot they get old really quickly.
