if you are asking for help why not give useful info, type and speed of the card.Does it go from smooth to jump every now and then or is it choppy throughout the pan? What frame rate are you using?

If your audio is in sync at the beginning or if you stop and restart anyplace within the file, it is the file that is the issue. FCP has done it’s thing.
There are many types of mp4 flavors, you need to give specific settings. I would use a H264 preset, it is the most widely used mp4 compression. Also try making it in compressor from an export QT as said above.

What is the framerate of the clips and sequence now?
The issue of editing native is the codec is not a NLE friendly codec, you have to render it everytime you add any filter or need full rez playback. If you are okay with what you have you can go on as is.
When you export the final you want to go to something like ProRes.

If you are trying to get usable audio you really need something like the Zoom H4n.

First and foremost they are extremely versatile lens shades. Anytime direct light hits the lens from an angle you get flare and loss of contrast. Flare is easy to spot but loss of contrast is not. So a hood with flags goes a long way to block out this unwanted light. For shooting out side or concert type situations a hood is a must. Then most work on rails and have multiple filter folders. One hood and one set of filters works for all your lenses. There is a quickness to well designed matte boxes.
That said they are also a big ticket item, I have not purchased one but I have cheap rubber hoods that are always on my lenses. They do 90% of the job for a couple of bucks. Eventually I plan to get a good matte box but that is a while down the road.
Bottom line, your lenses need hoods!

the DoF on the Panny will be closer to the 5D then a video camera. I think it would match up much better.
I’m really excited about this camera and I think it is the first step in the right direction for true video cameras. The only downer I see is the codec they are going with, but with true HD SDI that can now be by-passed.
Not sure when they will be shipping though, I thought the word was the end of the end, which means Feb 2011 in Panasonic time.
The look needs to support the story but the story is or should always be #1 concern. I would rather watch something that is well put together and a compelling story shot on DV that some rambling crap shot on the best camera. Of course when they both come together it is the best.

do you mean 720p @ 25fps?are you sure your sequence matches your clips.
Where are you viewing the black bars, canvas, viewer, TV?
Make sure the clips are indeed HD and not SD clips.
This is not a software issue, this is a user issue. Not trying to put you down just to let you know that it is most likely just the wrong setting. Unless you post all the clip and sequence settings we are just guessing what it could be.

There are places to buy legit new copies at a little savings. But like others have said stay away from “too good too be true” at best you get an illegal copy (which is not a good thing) at worse you lose your money.
